I’m the head Loctician of Melbourne Dreads and I have 17+ years experience creating, maintaining and doing everything else dread related.
First starting with my own locks in 2004 I have learned what to do and definitley what not to do the hard way. There wasn’t as much info out there like today!
In 2010 I started Melbourne Dreads as a side job and relied on mostly referrals to grow. And now it has developed into something bigger than I imagined!
I do my work with longevity in mind and nothing is rushed because I want you to be proud of the dreadlocks you have.
The advice I provide is always in line with safe and all natural ways. And of course, I am mobile, so you can rest at home while I come to you and do my thing!

What I do For Your Dreadlocks?
- What I do involves the use of no products at all so you are guaranteed to have dreadlocks that will be clean and able to naturally mature.
- My crocheting technique eliminates the risk of over crocheting which can be identified by rock hard dreads that have weak sections on them.
- My style is non-destructive allowing the dreads to mature naturally and not have to loosen before tightening again.
- Maintenance is known to be quite painful for many people. But I've been told by many of my clients that the way I do it doesn't hurt as much as other Loctitians.
- The effort and skill I put into dreads from scratch speed up the maturation process for new dreads.
